Exentec BioPharma Solutions is seeking an experiencedFabricator /TIG Welder in Lawrence, MA, to support the fabrication ofstainless-steel components and equipment for the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

This role is responsible for theassembly, fabrication, welding, finishing, and testing of both small- and large-scale equipment. The position involves hands-on work with stainless steel systems and requires frequent collaboration with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners to ensure high-quality results.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

The Fabricator /TIG Welder will be responsible for the following duties, including but not limited to:

Follow the daily direction provided by the department head or supervisor
Read and interpretassembly drawings and technical specifications
Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel frames, tubing, and valve fabrications using manual and automated processes (20% of the time)
Utilize machinery and hand tools forcutting, machining, grinding, and polishing stainless steel components
Assist in the assembly and fabrication of custom-engineered pharmaceutical equipment
Maintain consistent communication with team members and leadership regarding progress, challenges, and potential solutions
Ensure all work meets requiredquality, safety, and performance standards

Show your expertise

Required:

1–3 years of TIG (GTAW) welding experience
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with precision and attention to detail
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Preferred:

Experience with fabrication and testing ofTFF, chromatography, or bioreactor systems
Knowledge ofASME BPE Codes and Standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the pharmaceutical industry
Working knowledge ofpneumatic and hydraulic systems and components

Work Environment Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods (more than 2 consecutive hours within an 8-hour shift)
Regular interaction with machinery and equipment containing moving parts
Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
Exposure to welding, cutting, and grinding processes
Occasional exposure to low- and high-voltage equipment
Work performed in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment
