Senior Elevator Account Manager – Service, Repair & Modernization

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Elevator Account Manager to lead and expand our Service, Repair, and Modernization portfolio across San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area markets.

This is a senior-level, high-impact role designed for an experienced elevator industry professional with a proven track record of growing territory revenue, managing complex accounts, and driving service and modernization contract expansion.

You will own a territory, manage key strategic accounts, and actively pursue new business opportunities in one of the most competitive elevator markets in the United States.

Elevator industry sales experience is required.

What You’ll DoStrategic Account Growth & Territory Leadership

Lead and grow a portfolio of high-value service, repair, and modernization accounts
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across commercial, residential high-rise, healthcare, hospitality, and mixed-use properties
Expand long-term maintenance agreements and modernization pipelines within aging building stock
Serve as primary account leader for property managers, owners, engineers, and facility teams

Advanced Sales & Contract Management

Develop complex proposals, maintenance agreements, repair estimates, and modernization scopes
Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and high-value deal closing
Manage renewals, multi-year agreements, and long-term retention strategies
Consistently exceed monthly and annual revenue targets

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

Partner closely with operations, service supervisors, project managers, and engineering teams
Coordinate with union-represented mechanics and field leadership to ensure seamless execution
Lead job walks, technical consultations, and client presentations

Market Intelligence & Pipeline Ownership

Own and manage a robust sales pipeline with disciplined forecasting and reporting
Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and modernization demand in the San Francisco market
Represent the company in high-level client meetings, site visits, and industry events

What You Bring

5+ years of elevator industry sales or account management experience (required)
Proven success managing high-value accounts and exceeding sales targets
Strong technical knowledge of elevator service, repair, and modernization systems
Advanced communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Ability to operate independently and strategically in a competitive urban market
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple complex accounts
Willingness to travel locally throughout the San Francisco Bay Area

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Experience in unionized field environments
Deep familiarity with high-rise and modernization-heavy portfolios

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $75,000 – $115,000 (DOE)
