Medical Assistant – MAT

Primarily assists the medical & therapeutic staff with technical medical duties, paperwork and processes. Interacts with clients and vendors as well as other support staff.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Clear speaking voice in the English language.
Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information.
Ability to maintain good working relationship with clients, co-workers, associates and managers.
Working knowledge of computer hardware, telephone systems, computer software, including MS Office Suite, scheduling software, RxNT and other job-specific software, as well as Mac platform.
Awareness and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
Awareness and understanding of DEA regulations.
Ability to work with money and cash receipts; must be bondable.
Hold updated required licenses and certifications.
Ability to dress in a professional manner.
Valid driver’s license, valid automobile insurance and good driving record.
Demonstrated record of good work attendance and reliability.
Flexible work habits and work schedule.
This position requires a professional demeanor and an orientation toward customer service.
Experience in addiction environment helpful.
Minimum level of Education: appropriate medical technical degree and certification

Medical Receptionist

Job Summary: The Receptionist handles customer inquiries both in person and on the phone, and provides information and assistance to staff and the public according to established procedures. This position is also responsible for computer support, photocopying, filing, mailing and other clerical duties to support other staff members in a busy office environment.

Interacts with clients/patients and vendors/pharmacies as well as other support staff. Orders and monitors appropriate medications. Stays up-to-date with policies, procedures, treatment options and licensing in the addiction field.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Clear speaking voice in the English language.
Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information.
Ability to maintain good working relationship with clients/patients, co-workers, associates and managers.
Working knowledge of computer hardware – Apple platform preferred, telephone systems, computer software, including Office Suite, scheduling software, RxNT and other job-specific software such as PDMP.
Ability to dress in a professional manner.
Valid driver’s license, valid automobile insurance and good driving record.
Demonstrated record of good work attendance and reliability.
Flexible work habits and work schedule.
