Overview
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Steamworks Prep Cook or Line Cook! This exciting role offers the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced, energetic environment. You will be essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring our guests enjoy memorable dining experiences. Whether you’re passionate about food preparation, menu planning, or delivering exceptional service, this position provides a platform to grow your culinary career while working alongside a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist in meal preparation for both individual orders and large catering events, maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
Support the culinary team by executing prep work such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours while upholding excellent food presentation.
Participate in menu planning discussions and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings.

Requirements

Prior experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable.
Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting.
Strong knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food safety standards.
Proficiency in knife skills, meal preparation, and general culinary techniques.
Experience with menu planning, catering, serving, and food industry operations is a plus.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
