Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable dining experience through attentive service, menu knowledge, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
Accurately input orders into the POS system (Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable) and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
Monitor tables for guest needs, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and providing additional service as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.
Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures.
Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, with fine dining experience preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Culinary experience is a plus, along with familiarity with kitchen operations.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Previous experience as a host/host or in guest relations is advantageous.
