Family Functional Therapy (FFT) Therapist – Full-Time (1099)

About The Patrick Group

The Patrick Group provides evidence-based, in-home services to youth and families across Washington State. We contract with DCYF and Snohomish County Juvenile Court, working with families involved in complex systems and high-needs situations.

We operate as a contractor-based organization, offering flexibility and autonomy while maintaining strong expectations around clinical quality, accountability, and model fidelity.

About the Role

We are hiring a full-time Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Therapist to provide intensive, evidence-based services to youth ages 11–18 and their families in Snohomish County.

FFT is not traditional outpatient therapy. Services primarily occur in families’ homes and communities, where therapists work with family dynamics in real time. Therapists also coordinate with systems such as Juvenile Court, DCYF, schools, and other providers.

This position is best suited for an experienced, self-directed clinician who is comfortable working independently with youth and families experiencing significant behavioral, relational, and system involvement.

What You’ll Do

· Provide in-home FFT services to youth and families

· Work through FFT phases (engagement, motivation, behavior change, generalization)

· Address behavioral concerns such as aggression, defiance, and truancy

· Build caregiver capacity and improve family functioning

· Coordinate with DCYF, Juvenile Court, and other involved systems

· Maintain consistent engagement across a full caseload

Position Details

· Full-time, 1099 contractor role

· Begin with 4–5 families immediately following training

· Build to 10–12 active families (~40 hours/week)

· Services are delivered in homes and community settings

· Flexible schedule required (including evenings and some weekends)

Compensation

· $150 per FFT session

· $45/hour for travel time

· Current state mileage rate

Position Requirements

· Active Washington State credential allowing clinical practice
(e.g., Certified Counselor, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent)

· Master’s degree in a human services field preferred; bachelor’s-level clinicians with strong experience working independently with high-needs families are encouraged to apply

· Minimum 2 years of direct experience working with at-risk youth and families

· Ability to independently manage a full caseload

· Willingness to commit to a full-time FFT role for at least 12 months

Training Requirements

· Must attend all FFT training beginning September 21, 2026

· Selection for training is determined by regional FFT needs

· Completion of all required registration and pre-training steps

Additional Information

· Referrals are provided—no need to independently source clients

· Caseload expected to begin immediately following training (4–5 families ready to start)

· Documentation and routine case responsibilities are not separately billable unless specified

· Ongoing supervision, consultation, and fidelity monitoring are required
