The 731 Clubhouse is a family-friendly sports bar environment with golf simulators, pool tables, corn hole boards, an epic sound system, and plenty of TV's to enjoy any game you want to watch! Occasionally, we book with incredibly talented artists who perform live music and we host karaoke nights (don't worry, trivia is coming soon too). During the day, the 731 Clubhouse is a great place for a peaceful lunch + beer combo. Once night hits, turn up the music and have a great time surrounded by friends!
The fun at the 731 Clubhouse isn't possible without a key part though- our amazing bartenders. We are looking for dedicated and personable individuals in need of a part time job.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR...
- Must be able to work weekdays and weekends.
- Must be able to work opening and closing shifts.
- Must be reliable and kind.
- Customer service experience is NOT necessary, but is a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- ABC License is not required upon applying or interviewing. You will not be penalized or overlooked if you do not possess an ABC License yet.
- Must be willing to abide by a dress code.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Opening Shifts will require you to open the store in a timely manner, but don't worry! This doesn't take long at all.
Our team is rather small, so we all work together and maintain a clean work environment. Team work is a big deal here. The ability to work with others is valued greatly at the 731 Clubhouse.
Serve customers and consistently check in to ensure that they get high-quality service. You will be working for tips, building connections with customers and making sure that they aren't waiting for a refill or another drink is very important. We take pride in our hospitality.
We do a little bit of everything- you must be willing to cook and serve food as well. As our business grows, we hope to expand our kitchen and hire cooks in the future. Until then, we are the cooks and the bartenders!
Closing shifts will require you to wash dishes, restock coolers, dispose of trash, clean bathrooms, the kitchen, behind the bar, and sweep/mop the floors. All equipment, lights, TV's, and simulators should get turned off. Collect your tips, lock the door, and be safe getting home!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- How much do bartenders get paid?
In West Tennessee, minimum wage for servers is $2.18. Our bartenders start out at $5.00/hour. You will also earn cash and credit card tips!
- Is there a uniform or dress code?
Sort of... We will provide you with a 731 Clubhouse T-Shirt and the rest of your outfit is for you to decide! We just ask that you DO NOT wear flip flops or sandals, and please remember that this is a family friendly establishment. You will be sent home if you are dressed inappropriately or if you are wearing revealing clothes.
- I am a college student... If I have down time, can I study?
Absolutely! As long as there are no customers and you have completed all tasks, you can study! Feel free to play some pool, practice your corn hole skills, or enjoy a bit of golf if you have down time and have completed all tasks.
- Is scheduling flexible?
Yes. Scheduling is flexible. Life happens, and we understand that! We ask that you give us a notice if you need time off or if you have to call in.
