LEASING CONSULTANT

Mid Continent Management Corporation

Location: St. Paul / Roseville, Minnesota

Schedule: Full-time, on-site

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Classification: Nonexempt

The Opportunity

MCMC is seeking a customer-focused Leasing Consultant to support a large residential portfolio in the St. Paul and Roseville area. The portfolio includes 492 apartment homes across multiple properties and buildings. This position helps prospective residents find the right home while supporting leasing performance, resident service, accurate documentation, marketing, and the day-to-day operation of the communities.

What You Will Do

· Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, online, and in-person inquiries from prospective and current residents.

· Schedule and conduct property and apartment tours and clearly communicate community features, availability, rental criteria, pricing, and lease terms.

· Qualify prospects, maintain guest cards and traffic records, assist with applications, and follow up consistently to support leasing and occupancy goals.

· Prepare lease documents, addenda, move-in materials, renewal notices, and other required forms and ensure files are complete and accurate.

· Coordinate move-in appointments, orient new residents to the community, and help create a welcoming resident experience.

· Maintain current knowledge of apartment availability, pricing, concessions, community features, and sister-property options.

· Support outreach marketing, online listing accuracy, resident events, competitive market surveys, and other activities that generate qualified traffic.

· Assist with resident communications, service-request follow-up, notices, office coverage, and general administrative tasks.

· Follow Fair Housing requirements, company leasing standards, confidentiality expectations, and all applicable policies and laws.

· Walk properties and available apartments regularly and communicate maintenance, cleanliness, safety, or presentation concerns to the appropriate team.

What You Bring

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, customer service, or property management experience is preferred.

· Strong customer service, sales, communication, organization, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.

· Ability to confidently conduct tours, explain lease information, handle multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records.

· Working knowledge of Fair Housing requirements, or the ability to quickly obtain and apply this knowledge.

· Comfort using email, online leasing tools, property management software, and Microsoft Office; experience with Rent Manager is helpful.

· Ability to work a schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends based on leasing needs.

· Valid driver's license, current automobile liability insurance, and reliable transportation for local travel between assigned properties.

· Successful completion of a background investigation as a condition of employment.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour. Starting pay will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Benefit eligibility and plan terms vary. Physical and Work Environment

· This is an on-site leasing role that requires frequent walking throughout apartment communities, showing homes, and using stairs in indoor and outdoor conditions.

· The position requires regular computer and telephone use and frequent communication with prospects, residents, and team members.

· The employee may occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or lift and move up to 20 pounds.
