From Residential service work to large Commercial and Industrial projects, we focus on quality, accountability, and building long-term relationships with our clients.

We’re a team that works hard, takes ownership, and supports each other. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Hybrid – Jr. Estimator/Project Manager who can step in, take control of projects, and help us run jobs at a high level.

Position Overview

Keely Electric is seeking a driven Hybrid Jr. Estimator/Project Manager to take ownership of projects from first walkthrough to final closeout. In this role, you’ll meet with customers, build accurate estimates, win work, and then lead those jobs in the field—coordinating crews, managing costs, and ensuring projects are completed on time and at strong margins. This is a hands-on position for someone who wants more than just a job—you’ll have real responsibility, a direct impact on profitability, and the opportunity to grow into a leadership role. What You’ll Do:

Estimating & Pre-Construction

· Meet with customers, walk jobs, and understand project scope.

· Build clear, accurate estimates including labor, materials, and equipment.

· Prepare and send proposals in a professional and timely manner.

· Communicate with customers to answer questions and help close projects.

Project Ownership

· Take full ownership of projects once they’re awarded.

· Kick off jobs with the field team and set clear expectations.

· Order materials and coordinate job logistics.

· Work closely with the office to schedule jobs efficiently.

· Keep projects moving forward and on track.

Job Performance & Profitability

· Track labor and job costs against your estimate.

· Maintain or exceed target gross profit margins.

· Identify and capture change orders — nothing out of scope is missed.

· Review completed jobs and continuously improve estimate accuracy.

Field & Team Coordination

· Work closely with the General Foreman and field crews.

· Provide clear direction, scope, and expectations.

· Help solve problems while keeping jobs productive and efficient.

· Ensure work is completed to company standards and code requirements.

Communication & Process

· Maintain clean and organized job documentation.

· Communicate clearly with customers, office staff, and field teams.

· Follow and help improve company systems and workflows.

· Stay ahead of problems — don’t wait for them to show up.

What You’ll Bring

· Experience in electrical estimating and/or project management

· Strong understanding of electrical systems (residential, commercial and industrial).

· Ability to read plans and think through job execution.

· Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.

· Strong communication skills — with customers and team members.

· Comfortable with estimating and job management software (EBM).
