Job Title: Line Cook

At Raibu, we bring the essence of Japan to the heart of Boise. Our menu blends tradition with refinement, offering an authentic dining experience rooted in craftsmanship and quality. Guests can savor the artistry of omakase-style dining at our sushi bar, where every course is thoughtfully curated by our chefs to highlight the finest seasonal ingredients. We are looking for experienced, charismatic, hard-working professionals to join our team. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering exceptional food that meets our standards.

Role Requirements and Responsibilities

Must be able to work afternoon and night shifts.
Minimum of 2 years of experience is required (Knowledge and experience with Japanese cuisine is a plus)
Possess great knife skills.
Must be able to follow instructions and not deviate from recipes.
Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Able to work fast, organized, and efficiently (taking into account portion, cost control, sanitation, and cleanliness).
Knows and complies consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
Cleanliness and organization (i.e sharpening knife, keeping the station clean at all times).
Excellent communication skills; Must be able to follow directions, as well as be a team player.
Communicate with the team to ensure that special requests and food allergy considerations are met.
Communicate effectively with all Kitchen Chefs, Executive Chef, management, and fellow team members.
