If you’re looking for a tax role with real flexibility, autonomy and respect this could be worth a conversation.

This 13-person Wellesley CPA firm focuses entirely on tax and has built the kind of environment people tend to stay in. New hires are being made because of growth, not constant replacement.

You'll join a culture that is collaborative, flexible and family-oriented. The partners know you have a life outside of work, and trust you to get the job done without micromanaging you. Here your ideas will be listened to and valued.

There is no rigid in-office policy. Ideally, someone would be local enough to come in around once a week, but there is flexibility.

You’ll work with high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, real estate clients, trusts and family office-style clients who need more than annual compliance. There is a lot of planning, consulting and year-round advisory work, so you’ll be close to the client relationship.

Job description:

You’ll manage a book of tax clients, review returns, support planning and consulting work, and help clients make decisions throughout the year.

You’ll need strong review experience and be comfortable with K-1s, multi-state work, general ledgers and prior-year workpapers.

There is a solid team of preparers below this level, so this is a role for someone who can work with autonomy.

CPA or EA preferred, but not required.

Busy season:

February is typically around 55–60 hours, with the final week or two closer to the deadline reaching up to around 70.

The rest of the year is much more manageable, and extension season is not treated like another full busy season.

1pm Fridays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
