This is not a traditional high-volume outpatient position.
You will work one-on-one with recreational, competitive, collegiate, and elite athletes in a collaborative environment that values clinical reasoning, measurable outcomes, professional development, and exceptional client care.

Primary Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide individualized, one-on-one physical therapy
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop personalized plans of care
- Help clients achieve their clinical, athletic, health, and lifestyle goals
- Progress clients from rehabilitation through return to sport and performance
- Use objective measures to assess progress and guide clinical decisions
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation
- Follow up with clients to support engagement, consistency, and successful outcomes
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients
Client Communication
- Clearly explain evaluation findings, treatment recommendations, and expected outcomes
- Help clients understand the value of completing an appropriate plan of care
- Communicate confidently and professionally about treatment options, pricing, and financial commitments
- Provide a high level of service throughout the entire client experience
- Conduct complimentary discovery visits with prospective clients
- Reconnect with clients who have fallen off the schedule or need additional support
Program and Practice Development
- Contribute to the continued growth of our orthopedic and sports rehabilitation programs
- Build relationships with local coaches, athletic trainers, physicians, strength professionals, nutrition professionals, sports psychologists, and community partners
- Participate in workshops, seminars, injury-prevention events, and community outreach
- Contribute to educational and social media content
- Assist with the development of new clinical and performance programs
- Help strengthen referral relationships throughout the community
Team Development
- Participate in the clinic’s in-house education and mentoring program
- Attend team meetings and case discussions
- Share knowledge and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment
- Receive and implement coaching designed to improve clinical, communication, and leadership skills
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Colorado physical therapy license
- Current CPR and first-aid certification
- Minimum of two years of physical therapy experience
- Experience working with active individuals and athletes
- Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when appropriate
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Consistent attention to detail
- Ability to complete responsibilities accurately and on time
- Commitment to continued professional growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in orthopedic or sports physical therapy
- Athletic training, strength and conditioning, or sports-performance background
- ATC, CSCS, SCS, OCS, or similar specialty credential
- Level I and Level II dry needling certification
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Experience with return-to-sport testing and performance rehabilitation
- Experience treating runners, field and court athletes, gymnasts, or other competitive athletes
- Interest in developing a clinical specialty or sports-specific program
