Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and maintaining smooth front desk operations in a dynamic hotel or resort environment. Bilingual skills and hospitality management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and overall experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of guest information
Assist with night audit procedures as needed to ensure financial accuracy at shift end
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs promptly
Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest relations throughout all interactions
Support event or conference setups if applicable, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse guests effectively
Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems preferred
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
Hospitality or hotel experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
