About us

We are professional, fast-paced, customer-centric and our goal is to become a market leader in the Automotive Refinish Aerosol & Coating industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Account Executive to join our extremely reputable, family-run business that is supplying the Automotive Refinish Aerosol & Coatings market. This role is predominantly about driving further business through new distribution channels that will not interfere with existing ones and will be selling into distribution/jobber stores across Western US Territory (California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah & Oregon). This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and negotiate effectively. Whilst the business in North America is currently small, it is part of a UK organisation that has conquered the UK market, giving the right candidate something very exciting to work with as you will be playing a major role in the growth and development of the North American entity. This role will require a lot of travelling with early starts and late finishes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and account management.

Responsibilities:

To achieve the targeted growth plans for the region
To maintain and exceed the company’s contribution margin across Western US Territory (California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah & Oregon)
To identify and visit new distribution/jobber stores that would benefit from our products and services
To identify current pain points within potential customers and to present them with a solution that will overcome those issues
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Work alongside and in conjunction with reps from WD’s that are covering your area
Conduct research to identify potential new markets and customer needs
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Stay up to date on industry trends and developments
Provide accurate notes of customer interactions and sales activities

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a Hunting/Business Development role is essential
Self-driven and proactive in a remote role, not having to be followed up by your manager
Ability to overcome rejection
Skills & drive to quickly close sales
Have a ‘can do’ & ‘get stuff done’ attitude
High levels of energy, come to work to have fun but deliver and exceed results
Used to fast-paced environment, with a high volume of results
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
Good negotiation skills with the ability to identify additional sales opportunities
Passion and drive to succeed in a sales environment.
The ability to build and maintain excellent relationships
Good working knowledge of MS Office and related programs
Firm believer and user of CRM systems
Strong work ethic and positive attitude and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time in Western US Territory (California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah & Oregon)

Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
