Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a vibrant, efficient work environment. Your leadership will inspire the kitchen staff to deliver outstanding dining experiences morning, noon and night. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, manage food production processes, and elevate our culinary standards through attention to detail and meticulous food safety practices.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to uphold high standards of quality and presentation.
Lead and motivate kitchen staff to ensure efficient shift management and seamless teamwork during busy service hours.
Oversee inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
Collaborate with leadership to accommodate special dietary needs and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage food service operations ensuring timely delivery of hand crafted dishes.
Support menu planning efforts by contributing creative ideas that align with current culinary trends and guest preferences.
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment by enforcing sanitation standards and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably with banquet or fine dining experience.
Strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work culture.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety regulations
Experience in a scratch style kitchen is a non nogotiable
Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through food service.
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of food handling and preparation.
