Design Alaska is a multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering, and land surveying firm based in Fairbanks, Alaska, dedicated to creating spaces that strengthen our communities. As a company committed to purposeful and innovative design, we are seeking talented Electrical Engineering Graduates to join our team and help shape a sustainable, inclusive, and connected future.

Electrical Engineer duties typically include:
Design energy-efficient lighting systems that create vibrant, welcoming spaces.
Develop reliable and sustainable power systems that support essential community infrastructure.
Create signal systems to ensure safety, connectivity, and accessibility.
Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team on impactful projects.

Design Alaska seeks these desirable attributes in Electrical Engineer applicants:

A 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
Eager to pursue your Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alaska.
Demonstrate understanding of electrical system concepts.
A passion for community-focused work and sustainable design solutions.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excitement for learning new skills and working collaboratively in team settings.
