Full Job Description

Job Summary
Highly experienced Family Law Senior Paralegal needed to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be able to handle a full case load for at least one of our attorneys while also training and mentoring our current fabulous team of legal assistants and paralegals.

Duties

Work with our current Senior Paralegal to help teach, mentor, and train our support team as they each continue their professional development. We have an AMAZING team and are looking for someone who is comfortable helping guide others on their own professional paralegal and law firm career journeys.
Help organize and coordinate assigned tasks between our attorneys and our current support team, including identifying and implementing best practices in our growing office.
Be a primary point-of-contact for at least one of our experienced attorneys, serving complete paralegal duties to include drafting pleadings, preparing discovery responses, maintaining files and attorney calendar needs, and client communication.

Skills

8-10+ years specifically in Virginia Family Law Paralegal duties is a must for this role. Please understand that anyone lacking that specific experience will not be pursued - this is not an entry level or transitional role.
Familiarity with Clio or similar legal management software is a plus.
Excellent writing skills for drafting documents and correspondence.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Research skills to support case preparation and legal analysis.
Effective project management abilities to ensure deadlines are met.
