Full Job Description

Collections Representative

BTX Global Logistics is seeking a talented and professional individual with a track record of success within the global freight forwarding industry. The Collections Representative is responsible for supporting our customer base. This position reports to the Credit & Collections Manager and will support all business units across North America.

Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:

· Responsible for handling accounts in assigned stations.

· Call and email regarding past due accounts.

· Monitor and analyze accounts that may require credit holds/increases.

· Refers accounts to Credit Department as needed.

· Process invoice corrections.

· Ability to work with stations to resolve disputes.

· Research payments and obtain necessary remittances.

· Escalate accounts needing outside collections.

· Run and create aging reports for stations and customers.

· Create Ad Hoc customer excel reports.

· Performing other related duties as assigned.

Summary of Experience and Education:

High School degree or equivalent
2-5 years previous Accounts Receivable, Collections, and/or Customer Service experience required.
Experience in a transportation industry and/or call center environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as analysis software.

· Basic understanding of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies used in credit analysis.

· Ability to identify and investigate discrepancies and problems.

· Proven diverse background in all aspects of credit within a logistics environment a plus.

BTX Global Logistics is a global transportation and logistics organization with over 30 regional branches in the U.S. and Canada. The Credit Representativewill be expected to aid in the transformational change of this organization due to its continual and rapid growth.
