Millstone Medical Outsourcing is looking for an energetic individual to join its team as a Boxing Associate on the 2nd shift.
Millstone Medical is a fast growing, fast paced medical service provider for the top Orthopedic companies in the industry. Millstone’s business focus is sterile and non- sterile packaging of medical devices. Millstone also engages in other activities, such as mechanical inspection and assembly, which are designed to meet the outsourcing requirements of medical device manufacturers seeking to reduce costs while maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. We are FDA and ISO registered and employ a detailed internal quality system to ensure ISO compliance.
Summary: The Boxing Associate is responsible for labeling, packaging, and inspecting customer products per the customer’s and Millstone’s specific requirements. This position includes visual inspection of medical devices and instruments which requires the ability to detect defects. 20/20 or corrected 20/20 vision is required.
Responsibilities:

Inspection of various medical devices and medical instruments to detect defects
Label and package products
All other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:

Must be able to fully communicate in English. This includes reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to follow the lead of other operators
Ability to keep supplies & area orderly
Must have basic addition & subtraction math skills
Basic knowledge - Familiar with computer hardware

Physical Demands:

20/20 or corrected 20/20 vision is required
Standing, frequent lifting of 25 lbs. or less and occasional heavy lifting of 25 lbs. or more
Manual Dexterity and repetitive motion (*Boxing area requires frequent repetitive use of hands/wrists)
