Full Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Foot Care Nurse (Per Diem)

Join a growing, patient-focused mobile foot care practice serving adults in their homes and community settings.

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Registered Nurse who enjoys working independently and providing one-on-one patient care. Previous home care, visiting nurse, hospice, or community nursing experience is strongly preferred, as this role requires confidence in autonomous clinical decision-making.

No foot care experience is required—we provide comprehensive training. The agency will reimburse the cost of the approved foot care education program as well as national certification upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

Provide professional routine foot care services to patients in their homes and community settings.
Perform thorough nursing assessments of the lower extremities.
Identify and report changes in patient condition and make appropriate referrals as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Educate patients on proper foot health and preventative care.
Follow infection control, sterilization, and agency protocols.
Travel independently between patient visits.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) Massachusetts license
Completion of a MA CORI background check
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
Home care, Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), hospice, or community nursing experience strongly preferred.
Comfortable working independently with excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.
Professional, dependable, and compassionate.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
