Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
One year in a vehicle parts department preferred.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Skills & Qualifications:

Oversees the Parts Sales process from start to finish.
Communicates with customers on parts status.
Communicates with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Must be able to read and understand the Parts Catalog when looking up parts.
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Provides high level service to internal and external customers.
Pulls and fills orders from stock.
Notifies Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits an Emergency Order, if necessary.

Physical Requirements:

Required to stand, sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel.
Frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach with hands and arms, take, and hear.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
