WHO WE ARE
Motion RX is a rapidly growing cash-based physiotherapy company with locations in Jacksonville and Tampa, Florida. We specialize in eliminating pain and maximizing athletic performance through evidence-based treatment protocols that deliver world-class results.
Currently generating $1.3M in annual revenue, we're positioned for aggressive growth with a strategic vision to 3X revenue at both locations by the end of 2026, reaching $3-3.5M per location. Our mission is to help people move better and live an active life they love—pain free. We do this by providing world-class service from performance-driven healthcare professionals with expert-level focus on movement for our clients.
Our Core Values are:
- Be > Yesterday: We commit to continuous self-improvement in skillset, systems, and decision-making. We always seek feedback and apply it rather than settling for stagnation. We look to drive personal, fitness, and professional growth, year over year, month over month to be the best versions of ourselves.
- Fitness Forward: We prioritize strength, movement quality, and long-term capacity. We favor active solutions over passive ones. We practice what we preach, live an active lifestyle, and lead from the front.
- Go One More: We put in extra effort when it meaningfully improves outcomes and experience. We don't settle for "good enough" when excellence is within reach. We finish strong and follow through.
- Speed is King: We move quickly, decide decisively, and iterate based on feedback. We take imperfect action over overthinking. We prioritize fast execution without sacrificing quality, because action drives results.
- Own the Outcome: We take responsibility for results, not excuses. If we have control over it, we own it. We have a high "Say: Do" ratio.
If our culture and mission does not resonate with you, please do not apply.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE UNIQUE
This isn't a "maintain the status quo" operations role. You're being hired to accelerate growth in a business with proven product-market fit and massive untapped potential. Our founder has built a marketing engine that consistently drives patient flow but our operational infrastructure just hasn't kept pace with demand.
You'll step into a high-growth business where:
- The product works (world-class patient outcomes)
- The marketing works (proven patient acquisition system)
- The model works (profitable cash-based revenue)
- The operations need an architect to transform fragmented systems into a scalable, data-driven machine
Your success will be measured by transforming Motion RX from a founder-dependent operation into a self-managing, high-performing business capable of $3-3.5M revenue per location.
Within your first 6-12 months, you'll enable the founder to step away from daily operations entirely—giving him back his time while the business runs better than ever. You're not maintaining what exists; you're building what comes next.
The long-term opportunity is even bigger: This role is positioned as a clear pathway to President within 3-4 years as our founder transitions to a board of advisors role. You're not being hired as a permanent Director of Operations—you're being developed as the future leader of this organization, with potential equity participation as we build toward an eight-figure exit.
This is a career-defining opportunity to take a proven business model and scale it aggressively while positioning yourself for executive leadership.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Motion RX is seeking a high-level Director of Operations who can function as the "growth accelerator" of our multi-location expansion. This is a critical leadership role for someone who can move our business toward eight-figure potential by building data infrastructure, operational systems, and team excellence that scales.
The application code word is EMPOWER. The Director of Operations is a highly skilled strategic thinker who anticipates and solves problems in a self-directed way. They build high-performing teams that operate at excellence without requiring constant oversight.
This position is W2 Full-Time Employee. This is a remote role based in Florida with regular travel requirements to our Jacksonville and Tampa locations. Given the critical nature of this role and our commitment to finding the perfect fit, we run a transparent and efficient 4-part application process that moves quickly for qualified candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maximize revenue and profit performance at each location, targeting $3-3.5M per location by end of 2026
- Build and manage high-performing clinical teams (doctors, physical therapists) who deliver exceptional results without requiring on-site oversight
- Diagnose and eliminate performance gaps between locations through systematic operational improvements
- Ensure seamless patient experience from first contact through treatment completion

- Create a "Single Source of Truth" by integrating all software systems (GHL, PT Everywhere, Everfit, DialPad) into unified data flows
- Design data infrastructure that gives founder "satellite-level" clarity without daily operational involvement
- Establish KPIs and reporting systems that drive decision-making and accountability across all teams
Sales Operations & Performance Infrastructure
- Design and implement performance tracking systems for distributed SDR team across multiple countries
- Build automated dashboards tracking key sales metrics: dial volume, connect rate, appointment-set rate, show rate, close rate
- Create diagnostic infrastructure to identify whether performance issues stem from people, process, technology, or market factors
- Establish data-driven feedback loops between sales results and operational adjustments
- Potentially oversee hiring of future SDR manager as team scales
Strategic Scaling & Growth Execution
- Execute tactical plans to 3X revenue at both locations by end of 2026
- Develop standardized operational playbooks and SOPs that ensure excellence can be replicated as business grows
- Build franchise-ready processes for potential future location expansion
- Conduct operational planning for growth initiatives and new market opportunities
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, hire, and retain A-player talent, particularly clinical professionals who deliver world-class patient outcomes

- Build self-managing team culture where excellence is the standard, not the exception
- Develop leadership bench strength to support scaling without founder dependency

- Develop advanced SOP protocols to ensure critical patient information transfers seamlessly between teams
- Eliminate operational errors in handoff processes that could compromise patient safety or business outcomes

Strategic Partnership & Founder Extraction
- Serve as strategic partner to founder on high-ROI time allocation and business decisions

- Gradually assume strategic leadership responsibilities as founder transitions toward board of advisors role

- Outcome-based management philosophy rather than input-tracking or micromanagement approaches
- B2C or service business operations knowledge to understand customer journey, service delivery, and revenue optimization
- Healthcare, wellness, fitness, or adjacent experience is a strong bonus but not required—operational excellence translates across industries
Critical Soft Skills
- Strategic thinking with ability to see 3+ years down the road and identify highest-leverage opportunities
- Approachable and relational leadership style that builds strong internal relationships and improves team retention
- Direct conflict resolution skills with ability to address performance issues while maintaining psychological safety

- Hunger for CEO-track growth opportunity with genuine interest in stepping into President/CEO role on 3-4 year timeline
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex operational concepts for diverse audiences
- Resilience and stability to serve as steady operational presence while founder focuses on marketing and strategy
- Trust builder who can quickly demonstrate competence and earn confidence from high-performing teams

- Exceptional attention to detail in environments where errors have consequences for customer experience or business outcomes
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities across locations simultaneously

- Comfortable working remotely while maintaining strong presence and accountability across physical locations
- Self-starter who manages schedule, priorities, and deadlines without requiring direct supervision
- Data-driven decision making with ability to analyze metrics and identify optimization opportunities
- Highly resourceful problem-solver who learns new tools and systems quickly
Location & Travel Requirements
- Based in Florida (strongly preferred) with willingness and ability to travel regularly to Jacksonville and Tampa locations
- Comfortable with regular on-site visits to locations as needed for team management, hiring, training, and operational oversight

Mindset & Cultural Fit
- You hold yourself accountable to the highest standards of performance and deliver on commitments consistently
- You thrive in fast-growth environments where building while scaling is the reality

- You see this as a career-defining opportunity to build toward President/CEO leadership
- You believe in outcome-based management and creating self-managing teams
- You're comfortable with the autonomy and responsibility that comes with being the operational architect
