Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Benefits Analyst to join our Human Resources team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the administration and management of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering exceptional service to our workforce. Your expertise will help shape our benefits strategies, optimize HRIS systems, and support employee engagement initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a meaningful impact on employee well-being and organizational success.

Duties

Manage the end-to-end administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
Utilize HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and UltiPro to maintain accurate benefits data and streamline processes.
Oversee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations while ensuring compliance with employment laws such as FMLA, HIPAA, and workers' compensation regulations.
Conduct data collection and analysis to generate regulatory reports, audit benefits programs, and support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with vendors and insurance providers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and enhance benefits offerings.
Provide expert guidance on employment & labor law compliance related to benefits administration and employee relations.
Support employee orientation sessions by explaining benefits options and answering related questions effectively.
Assist in training & development initiatives for HR staff and managers regarding benefits policies and systems like Dayforce, Paylocity, Kronos, or Lawson.
Handle complex inquiries related to payroll integration with benefits systems such as ADP or Ceridian while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

Proven experience in benefits administration with a strong understanding of human resources practices and employment law.
Extensive knowledge of HRIS systems including Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro, Paylocity or similar platforms.
Familiarity with payroll processes and integration points across various ERP systems such as Lawson or PeopleSoft.
Strong data analysis skills for collecting insights from benefit utilization reports and regulatory filings.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with employees at all levels, vendors, and legal advisors.
Ability to interpret complex contracts and legal documents related to employee benefits programs.
Experience managing compliance with regulations like FMLA, HIPAA, Medicare requirements, and OSHA standards.
Demonstrated negotiation skills for vendor contracts and benefit plan modifications.
Knowledge of recruiting practices as they relate to onboarding new employees into benefit programs.
