Full Job Description

<Job Overview>
We are hiring a Senior Bookkeeper / Full Cycle Accountant with strong QuickBooks experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support accurate financial reporting.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in corporate accounting, general ledger management, and account reconciliations who is ready to take ownership of the full accounting cycle.

<Responsibilities>

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting functions
Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting standards
Support ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks
Coordinate with external CPA, auditors, and tax professionals
Support tax filings (W-2, 1099, sales/use tax)
Analyze financial data, identify variances and trends
Assist with payroll processing (ADP preferred)
Maintain accurate records for licenses, insurance, and compliance

<Skills>

5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or full-cycle accounting
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
Experience with:
General ledger accounting
Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Financial reporting
Knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance
Experience working with CPAs or external auditors
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience with ADP payroll is a plus
Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
