Full Job Description

About the Firm

Join a respected law firm known for great client service and a collaborative team culture. As Bookkeeper and Office Manager, you'll oversee the firm's finances and help keep daily operations running smoothly, working closely with the partners.

Key Responsibilities

Finance

Manage accounts payable/receivable
Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, sales tax, and documentary stamp filings
Oversee cash flow

Payroll & Compliance

Run payroll and file quarterly/year-end payroll reports
Keep the firm compliant with tax regulations

Maintain employee records, insurance, and the 401(k) plan
Hire, onboard, and supervise administrative staff (receptionists, runners)

Office Operations

Manage office supplies and vendor relationships
Open/close client files and maintain records

Partner Support

Collaborate with partners on financial strategy and process improvements
Assist with tax filings and asset management compliance

Qualifications

QuickBooks Online experience required. This is a must-have, not just preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years in a financial/operational role, ideally at a law firm
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle priorities
Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset
