Job Overview

The Fort Performance & Chiropractic is seeking a dynamic and personable Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our chiropractic and performance clinic. In this vital role , you will manage front office operations, serve as the first point of contact for visitors and patients, and support administrative functions to ensure smooth daily activities. Your enthusiasm, organizational skills, and professional demeanor will help create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your office management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
Answer multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls accurately and courteously
Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination using productivity software and applied office tools.
Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, maintaining organized filing systems both digitally and physically
Support office management by handling clerical duties such as proofreading, filing, and preparing correspondence
Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software when needed
Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, supporting patient needs, and maintaining positive communication
Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area to promote a professional environment
Support administrative tasks such as copying, scanning documents, and managing office supplies

Qualifications

Proven experience in office management or administrative roles, preferably as a receptionist in a medical office
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, data entry, and productivity software
Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
Experience in customer support or customer service roles in medical or dental reception settings is a plus
Knowledge of clerical procedures including filing, proofreading, and record keeping
Technical proficiency in office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times
