Full Job Description

CNS/CCSS is looking for reliable and enthusiastic team members to join our team!

We currently have positions available in our Westborough Neurology office, with additional opportunities becoming available in the coming months at our new Leominster ENT location.

Responsibilities:

Answers telephones, triage patient calls, send messages to appropriate staff
Copay collection
Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information.
Obtains and Documents Testing Prior-Authorizations
Verifies Insurance Eligibility and Benefits
Maintains assigned provider schedules
Obtains and Documents Referral Authorizations prior to patient appointment
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
All other duties as directed by the Practice Manager

Skills:

Excellent Telephone, Written and Inter-personal Communication skills
An understanding of Insurance plans and CPT / ICD-10 codes is preferred
Familiarity with web-based Insurance navigation and overall internet and computer skills
Possess both an individual and team-based work style, with a positive attitude

Qualifications

High School diploma or Equivalent

1 year medical office experience

Medical terminology

Excellent phone and strong customer service skills
