Director of Workers' Compensation Business Development

Location: Remote – Texas

About ASP Cares

ASP Cares is a growing pharmacy organization committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative pharmacy solutions throughout Texas. As we continue expanding our Workers' Compensation division, we are seeking an experienced business development leader to drive strategic growth across the state.

This is a remote position. ASP Cares operates pharmacy locations in Dallas and Westlaco, Texas for Workers Compensation and ships/deliver throughtout Texas; however, candidates are not required to reside near either location. We welcome qualified candidates located anywhere in Texas, with preference given to those based in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, or other major metropolitan areas.

The position requires regular travel throughout Texas.

Position Summary

The Director of Workers' Compensation Business Development will be responsible for expanding ASP Cares' Workers' Compensation business by leveraging an established network of physician and industry relationships throughout Texas.

This is not an entry-level sales position. We are seeking a highly accomplished professional with a proven track record of success in the Texas Workers' Compensation market who can generate immediate business opportunities through existing relationships and an established book of business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute ASP Cares' statewide Workers' Compensation growth strategy.
Generate new business by leveraging existing relationships with physicians, clinics, surgery centers, and Workers' Compensation stakeholders.
Develop and maintain relationships with orthopedic surgeons, pain management physicians, occupational medicine providers, neurosurgeons, spine specialists, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, and other key referral sources.
Establish and strengthen relationships with employers, TPAs, attorneys, nurse case managers, adjusters, and other Workers' Compensation professionals, where appropriate.
Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic partnerships that drive long-term growth.
Represent ASP Cares at industry conferences, networking events, and professional meetings throughout Texas.
Maintain an active sales pipeline, CRM records, and regular performance reporting.
Collaborate closely with Executive Leadership to achieve growth objectives and expand ASP Cares' market presence.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements.

Minimum 10 years of Workers' Compensation business development or sales experience within the State of Texas.
Minimum 10 years of established relationships within the Texas Workers' Compensation community.
Current or recent employment with a nationally recognized Workers' Compensation pharmacy, PBM, managed care organization, or Workers' Compensation services company.
An established book of business with long-standing relationships throughout Texas.
Demonstrated success generating Workers' Compensation prescription referrals and developing physician relationships.
Extensive network of relationships with physicians, clinics, TPAs, employers, attorneys, adjusters, nurse case managers, and other Workers' Compensation stakeholders.
Thorough knowledge of the Texas Workers' Compensation market and referral process.
Ability to travel extensively throughout Texas.
Valid driver's license

Candidates without significant Texas Workers' Compensation experience will not be considered.
