Full Job Description

Overview

Divine Inclusions is seeking a Self-Determination Program Administrator (PA) to oversee the day-to-day coordination and administration of California Self-Determination Program (SDP) services. This position supports participants in exercising choice, independence, and control over their services while ensuring compliance with Regional Center, DDS, HCBS, FMS, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage participant referrals, intake, authorizations, service agreements, and onboarding.
Coordinate SDP services, including Participant-Directed Services, General Self-Directed Supports (099), and Independent Facilitator services (340).
Review IPPs, PCPs, individual budgets, spending plans, authorizations, and participant needs.
Match participants with qualified staff and providers based on participant choice, needs, preferences, schedules, and qualifications.
Coordinate staff orientation, participant-specific training, service schedules, and backup coverage.
Monitor service delivery, participant satisfaction, progress, attendance, documentation, and authorized hours.
Coordinate with participants, families, Regional Centers, FMS providers, Independent Facilitators, staff, and community partners.
Monitor spending plans, billing, timesheets, invoices, and FMS statements to ensure accurate and authorized services.
Support participants with accessing generic resources such as IHSS, Medi-Cal, schools, transportation, housing, and employment resources.
Maintain accurate and confidential participant records and ensure required reports and documentation are completed timely.
Address service concerns, staffing issues, complaints, safety concerns, and changes in participant needs.
Promote person-centered planning, informed choice, independence, community inclusion, dignity, and self-advocacy.
Ensure compliance with applicable DDS, Regional Center, HCBS, FMS, and Divine Inclusions policies and requirements.
Participate in staff recruitment, training, coaching, and performance support as needed.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Special Education, Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
At least 1 year of program coordination, case management, supervision, or administrative leadership experience.
Knowledge of California’s Regional Center system, SDP, person-centered planning, IPPs, individual budgets, spending plans, FMS, and participant-directed services preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, documentation, and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple participants, staff, deadlines, and service needs in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, electronic records, scheduling, and virtual meeting platforms.

Additional Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and successfully complete required background clearances.
Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance when driving is required.
Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain as required.
Ability to travel to participant homes, community settings, Regional Centers, and Divine Inclusions offices.
Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
