Full Job Description

Waterless Beauty is the fastest growing sector in the entire beauty industry, and we are the fastest growing waterless beauty brand disrupting the industry.

Oliveda, part of the Olive Tree People family and a pioneer in waterless, olive‑tree‑based skincare and wellness, is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to grow and nurture our customer community across email and SMS. You will own lifecycle strategy and execution, turning brand fans into loyal customers while telling the story of our mountain olive trees, waterless beauty, and social impact.

Responsibilities

Own the overall email and SMS lifecycle strategy from acquisition through retention and winback.
Plan, build, and send campaigns that highlight product launches, education about olive‑tree actives, seasonal promotions, and brand storytelling.
Create and optimize automated lifecycle flows (welcome, quiz results, abandoned cart, post‑purchase, replenishment, winback, loyalty/VIP).
Develop segmentation strategies based on behavior, skin concerns, purchase history, and quiz data to deliver relevant, personalized messaging.
Set up, send, and optimize SMS campaigns and flows that complement email (alerts, launches, limited offers, reminders) while ensuring compliance.
Work in collaboration with our Revenue Campaign Manager to drive engagement and sales across all customer touchpoints.
Define testing roadmaps; run A/B tests (subject lines, send times, creative, offers, SMS copy) and systematize learnings.
Monitor and improve deliverability, list health, unsubscribe/spam complaint rates, and SMS opt‑out rates; maintain list hygiene.
Build regular performance reporting across lifecycle KPIs and present insights and recommendations to marketing leadership.
Collaborate with brand, creative, and social teams to maintain cohesive, on‑brand messaging around waterless beauty, olive‑tree actives, and impact projects.

Requirements

3–5+ years of experience in lifecycle or CRM marketing, with a strong focus on email; SMS experience in ecommerce preferred.
Proven track record planning and executing lifecycle programs that drive revenue, retention, and customer LTV.
Hands‑on experience with Mailchimp and HubSpot, plus at least one of the following: Klaviyo or Braze.
Strong analytical skills; comfortable using platform analytics and tools like Google Analytics to inform decisions and testing.
Excellent copy sensibility with the ability to adapt tone to a premium, ingredient‑focused, mission‑driven beauty brand.
Basic HTML for email edits and an eye for mobile‑first design and UX.
Solid understanding of email/SMS compliance and privacy (CAN‑SPAM, TCPA, CCPA, GDPR and consent best practices).
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple programs and deadlines.

Nice to have

Experience in clean beauty, skincare, wellness, or supplements.
Familiarity with quiz‑based funnels and educational, consultative lifecycle journeys.
Experience leveraging influencer or UGC content within lifecycle programs.
Interest in sustainability, holistic wellness, and conscious consumerism.

Location and working style

Location: (On‑site in Culver City, CA).
Type: Full‑time; reports to the VP, Marketing and Communications.
Salary range: $90K - $130K (dependent on location)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
