About Us

White Swan Bridal is a bridal boutique in Roswell, GA, known for personalized, appointment-based service and a 4.9-star reputation built on over 400 reviews. Our team includes six bridal stylists and an in-house alterations specialist, and we're growing — we're looking for a General Manager to run day-to-day operations, lead our team, and grow alongside the business.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves bridal retail and genuinely enjoys developing people. You'll own daily store operations, manage and coach a close-knit team, coordinate with vendors, and serve as the operational heartbeat of the boutique — reporting directly to ownership.

Your compensation is built to reward results. In addition to your hourly base, you'll earn 1% commission on all dress and accessory sales, plus quarterly performance bonuses tied to store conversion goals, individual stylist growth, and team advancement. When the team wins, you win.

Schedule: Approximately 40 hours/week. In-store presence required on Tuesdays (operations and admin), Saturdays, and Sundays (our highest-volume days). Mondays may be worked remotely for planning and scheduling. Wednesday and Friday hours are flexible based on business needs.

What you'll own:

Team leadership & development

Coach and inspire each team member to perform at their best and grow in their role
Conduct regular one-on-one sessions with each stylist to set goals, give feedback, and track individual progress
Monitor and support each team member's closing ratio — helping them improve, not just measuring them
Recognize and champion staff advancement and growth within the business
Lead by example on the floor — this is a team that takes cues from their manager

Scheduling & daily operations

Build and manage the weekly staff schedule, handle shift coverage and call-outs, and run the Saturday morning-to-evening shift handoff
Oversee daily floor operations: appointment flow, opening and closing, and walk-in handling
Serve as the bridge between the sales team and our alterations specialist, especially on our alteration-heavy days

Customer experience

Handle customer escalations and service recovery with professionalism and care
Ensure every bride who walks in or calls has an exceptional experience

Vendor & inventory management

Place and manage purchase orders with established vendors based on inventory needs
Coordinate incoming shipments and resolve any vendor issues
Track and manage inventory levels, identify reorder needs, and maintain accurate stock records

Reporting

Compile weekly operational summaries for ownership, including appointment volume, store and individual closing ratios, and staffing notes

Performance Bonus Structure

Bonuses are tied to three things:

Store closing ratio — overall percentage of bridal appointments that result in a positive bridal experience
Individual staff closing ratios — improvement in each stylist's conversion performance under your coaching
Team advancement — recognition of staff growth, skill development, and retention milestones

Bonus targets and review cadence will be defined with ownership at the start of employment and reviewed quarterly.

Skills

Required: Prior management experience in a bridal, formalwear, or wedding-industry retail environment
A genuine passion for coaching and developing people — not just managing them
Experience managing a team of 5+ people in an appointment-based setting
Comfortable with scheduling software, POS systems, and basic reporting
Strong organizational and communication skills — you'll be the hub connecting sales, alterations, and ownership
Someone who takes initiative, solves problems on the floor, and doesn't wait to be told what needs attention
Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within bridal or fashion retail environments.
Proficiency in negotiation, sales management, customer service excellence, and team development techniques.
Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, budgeting, marketing strategies, and administrative tasks.
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while managing multiple priorities such as scheduling, cash handling, and store operations.
