Full Job Description

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse | Up to $35K Sign-On Bonus

Compensation: $31.00-$51.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $35,000 (paid over time with no repayment obligation)

Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 available for qualified candidates

Additional Earnings Opportunities:

Decline benefits and PTO and receive a 30% increase to your base hourly rate
Evening Differential: +$3.30/hr
Night Differential: +$6.00/hr
Weekend Differential: +$10.00/hr
Holiday Pay: Additional 50% of base rate
Shift differentials may be combined

Position Overview

A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join its Perinatal Services team. This department delivers approximately 100 babies each month and provides comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Special Care Nursery services.

Nurses hired into this role will receive cross-training across all three areas, creating a well-rounded maternal-child nursing experience and offering excellent opportunities for professional growth and skill development.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience
Assist with newborn stabilization and care as needed
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

Requirements

Active RN license
Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
Strong maternal-child nursing assessment skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient and family-centered care
