Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for the food industry and a desire to grow within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Supervise staff, providing training and support to enhance performance and customer service.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the food service environment.
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu quality and presentation standards.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
Assist in financial management tasks, including budgeting and cost control.
Utilize POS systems effectively for transactions and reporting purposes.
Support marketing initiatives to promote casual dining experiences.

Experience

Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
Familiarity with restaurant management practices, including culinary operations and catering services.
Strong understanding of food service management principles and customer service excellence.
Experience with POS systems is advantageous.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
A background in casual dining or hotel environments is a plus.
