Full Job Description

H&H Machining Center is a family-owned precision machine shop in Valencia, CA. We have been in business since 1986. We are AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified and we make parts for aerospace, defense, space and medical.

We are looking for an experienced CNC lathe machinist who can program, set up, and run his or her own jobs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Program CNC lathes from prints and solid models

Set up and prove out your own jobs

Run multi-axis lathes with Y-axis, live tooling and sub-spindle

Pick your own tooling, speeds and feeds

Inspect your own parts and make the first good one

Fix the process when something is not working

WHAT WE RUN

Doosan / DN Solutions PUMA 2600SY, PUMA 2100SY, Lynx 2100SY, GT2600M and SMEC lathes. Fanuc controls. Mastercam and Fusion 360.

Materials: Inconel, titanium, A286, 15-5 PH, 17-4 PH, stainless, aluminum and plastics.

WHAT YOU NEED

5+ years programming and setting up CNC lathes

Mastercam or Fusion 360

Able to read blueprints and GD&T

Able to hold tight tolerances and inspect your own work

Y-axis, live tooling and sub-spindle experience

Aerospace experience is a plus, not a requirement. If you can program and set up a lathe, we want to talk to you.

PAY AND SCHEDULE

$50.00 to $58.00 per hour depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus overtime

Full time, in person. The shop is in Valencia, CA 91355.

THE WORK

Machine shop floor. You will be on your feet most of the shift and lifting up to 51 lbs. Earplugs, safety glasses and gloves are required and we provide them.
