EMS Education Coordinator / Instructor II
Bellin College is seeking a dedicated EMS Education Coordinator/Instructor II to lead and coordinate its Paramedic and EMT education programs. This position is responsible for curriculum development, classroom and clinical instruction, student advising, program evaluation, accreditation support, and mentoring instructors to ensure the delivery of high-quality EMS education. The ideal candidate is a licensed Paramedic with a passion for teaching, strong leadership skills, and experience in curriculum development and student engagement. Education - Licensures :
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, i.e. Education, Leadership
- Wisconsin Paramedic License or National Registry of EMS Paramedic certification
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Experience :
- Documentation of current certification with the NREMT at the Paramedic level.
- Proof of equivalency of 2 years’ experience as a licensed, practicing Paramedic.
- Current State of WI license at or above the level of Paramedic.
- State of WI DHS EMS Instructor II license preferred: or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS instructor preferred; or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of curriculum development, effecting teaching/learning and evaluation of programs.
Knowledge :
Knowledge and skill in the application of the principles of teaching and learning. Knowledge in curriculum and curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. Willingness to work with students to facilitate their learning.
