Full Job Description

Responsible for deep, heavy-duty cleaning of two high traffic bar lounges . · Two years’ experience in janitorial, custodial, or environmental services, preferably in a commercial or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

Routine manual labor: dust mopping, sweeping, wet mopping, waxing, vacuuming, polishing, and simple operation of basic mechanical cleaning equipment.
Non-routine manual labor: window washing, waste receptacle washing, floor scrubbing, cleaning of appliances and other apparatus and moving of furniture.
Scrubbing, rinsing and moving of heavy bar mats.
Scrubbing and cleaning of outside bar area to include glass partitions, sofas, and concrete patio.
Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste materials in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.

Required Abilities

Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Communicate well with guests, management and colleagues.
Must be willing to “pitch-in” and assist co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and local health department standards.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent.
Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in janitorial service in high-volume commercial facility.
Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, WHICH WILL INCLUDE A CRIMINAL AND CREDIT BACKGROUND CHECK.

Physical Requirements:

Push/lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand and/or walk up to 7 ½ hours per shift.
Stoop, crouch, and kneel.
Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.
Perform assigned job duties under pressure and in a fast paced and loud environment.
Require manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
