Account Manager Job Description: Dedicated Growth Account

Job Description

This Account Manager role is dedicated to a single customer account expected to grow significantly in headcount over time, with onsite coordinators added as the account scales. This is a hands-on role. The AM stays directly responsible for day-to-day execution even as coordinators are added, rather than stepping back into pure oversight.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day operations for the dedicated account, including staffing levels, quality of placements, turnover, and conversion performance.
Handle the full scope of account support directly in the early stages: recruiting, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and attendance monitoring, until account growth justifies dedicated onsite staff.
Build the staffing model and operating processes that will scale with the account, including recommendations on when and how to add onsite support roles.
Play a lead role in building out the onsite program as the account hits defined staffing thresholds, including structuring coordinator roles and staffing the onsite team.
Anticipate changing talent requirements and customer leadership changes. Identify opportunities to expand service offerings as the account grows.
Identify and develop direct hire and skilled trades opportunities within the account as it matures, expanding One Source's footprint beyond core staffing.
Coordinate hiring protocols based on the account's specific position requirements. Ensure compliance with internal recruitment standards.
Oversee onboarding, coaching, upskilling, performance tracking, and offboarding for all associates on the account.
Review timekeeping records and coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate associate pay and customer invoicing.
Produce productivity, staffing performance, and conversion reporting for the customer, and internal reporting to track account health against goals.
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customer decision makers to review performance, headcount trends, and account health.
Maintain weekly check ins with key customer stakeholders to stay ahead of staffing needs and flag issues early.
Manage job order creation, maintenance, and closure in the ATS.
Conduct onsite orientations and safety training using Alchemy.
Lead the initial response to workers' compensation incidents, looping in the HR Manager, and coordinate with the compliance team on safety walkthroughs and risk mitigation.
Serve as the primary liaison between the branch office and the customer. As the account scales, manage the onsite coordinators added to support the account, while remaining directly responsible for the day-to-day execution of the role.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in staffing or talent acquisition.
High volume recruitment experience in light industrial or manufacturing.
Client services experience with direct account ownership.
Comfortable operating solo and building processes from the ground up, with the ability to transition into managing a team as the account scales.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience building processes and reporting templates from scratch.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to communicate professionally across all platforms and influence decision makers.
