Part-Time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Now We’re Talking PLLC – Pediatric Speech Therapy

Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Schedule: Part-Time (Approx. 20 hours/week) – Flexible, primarily afternoons

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, primarily in the afternoons, making it ideal for clinicians seeking work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

Provide individualized, play-based speech and language therapy to pediatric clients
Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with each child’s goals
Collaborate with families and caregivers to support carryover into daily life
Complete documentation in a timely manner
Participate in a supportive, team-oriented environment

What We’re Looking For

Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from an accredited program.
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in MI
Will consider Clinical Fellows
Experience or interest in pediatric therapy and strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques for individuals with speech impairments across diverse conditions such as autism, gestalt language processing, phonological/articulation disorders, apraxia and fluency
Alignment with child-led, neurodiversity-affirming practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team

Qualifications

Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from an accredited program.
Proven experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention programs, outpatient clinics or school settings.
Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques for individuals with speech impairments across diverse conditions such as autism, articulation/phonological disorders, apraxia, language delays, and fluency issues.
Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with special education environments is preferred.
Competence in conducting comprehensive assessments utilizing standardized tests and clinical observations to inform treatment planning.
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient-centered care principles.
Familiarity with telehealth platforms for delivering remote therapy sessions; prior telehealth experience is advantageous.
Knowledge of anatomy related to speech production and physiology essential for accurate diagnosis and effective therapy interventions.
Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation; understanding of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology is required.
