Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Document Control Clerk & Training specialist to support our quality management and document control processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in document management systems. This role is vital in maintaining compliance with industry standards such as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, accessible, and properly managed. The successful applicant will also contribute to the development and delivery of training programs to ensure staff are well-versed in document procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain electronic and physical document control systems, including SharePoint and other document management platforms.
Organize, file, and archive documents in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Proofread and review technical documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with quality management standards.
Support data entry, records management, and data management activities to ensure integrity and accessibility of information.
Assist in the development, implementation, and delivery of training programs related to document control procedures and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper documentation practices are followed across departments.
Conduct regular audits of document control processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to support document workflows and data management activities.

Experience

Prior experience in document control, quality management, or administrative roles within regulated industries such as medical devices or manufacturing.
Familiarity with ISO 13485 (Medical Devices Quality Management Systems) and ISO 9001 standards is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using SharePoint, document management systems, and ERP software for data entry and records management.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
Experience in proofreading technical documents and performing data entry tasks with attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to develop training materials and facilitate training sessions for staff members.
Previous administrative experience supporting compliance initiatives or quality assurance programs is a plus.
