Job Title: Outpatient Behavioral Health Services Director
Location: Dumont and Englewood, NJ (On site)

Vantage Health System is a leading provider of comprehensive behavioral health services in northern New Jersey. With a longstanding commitment to accessible, compassionate care, we offer a full continuum of mental health and substance use treatment programs across outpatient and residential settings.

Position Overview:

Vantage Health System is seeking a dynamic and experienced Outpatient Behavioral Health Services Director to join our leadership team. This is a key management role overseeing multi-site mental health and addiction treatment programs, including clinical and administrative operations.

Schedule:

Full Time: Monday through Friday

Enjoy weekends and all major holidays off

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of outpatient mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services.
Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team, including providers, prescribers, access staff, and administrative personnel.
Ensure clinical excellence and regulatory compliance aligned with NJ State, Federal, and accrediting body standards.
Coordinate strategic initiatives, quality improvement plans, and data-informed decision-making.
Collaborate with executive leadership and medical staff to optimize patient care, access, and wellness outcomes.
Drive performance management, staff development, and program expansion goals.
Manage intake processes, clinical workflows, and access department functions to ensure timely, coordinated services.
Maintain strong communication and relationships with community partners and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field

Licensure (Required):
Dually licensed as an LCSW or LPC and also holds an LCADC or CCS.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, including supervisory or administrative leadership roles
Demonstrated expertise in mental health and addiction services in an outpatient setting
Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive performance outcomes
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), regulatory documentation standards, and managed care environments

Compensation and Benefits:

Annual Salary starting at $85k with additional compensation based upon years of experience
