With over 100,000 Carbon Revolution wheels on the road, Carbon Revolution is the recognised leader in the sector. Based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, we have over 350 dedicated and valued employees, allowing us to grow and produce some of the most technically advanced and highest performing wheels on the planet.

We’re expanding our North American presence and seeking an experienced Key Account Manager in North America to drive strategic growth across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused automotive professional to develop high-value OEM partnerships, secure new vehicle programs, and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of an innovative Australian technology company on the global stage.

What you’ll do

Business Development & Sales Growth

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to secure new OEM programs across North America.
Identify and pursue opportunities with premium, luxury, performance, EV, and specialty vehicle manufacturers.
Lead commercial activities for RFQs, sourcing events, proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline aligned with revenue and growth objectives.
Maintain a strong understanding of OEM sourcing cycles, vehicle programs, and market opportunities.
Represent Carbon Revolution at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

Account Management

Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned OEM customers.
Manage awarded programs through launch and production while supporting forecasting and commercial program activities.
Lead customer reviews, resolve commercial issues, and identify opportunities for follow-on business and platform expansion.
Foster strong customer relationships to support long-term strategic partnerships and customer satisfaction.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
Develop strategic account plans and provide customer insights to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Executive Leadership to support business growth and investment decisions.
Maintain accurate CRM reporting, opportunity management, and revenue forecasting.

What you'll bring

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
10+ years' experience in automotive OEM sales, business development, account management, or commercial leadership.
Demonstrated success delivering revenue growth and customer retention outcomes.
Strong understanding of North American automotive OEMs and sourcing processes.
Experience working across global teams and multiple time zones.
Strong commercial negotiation and contract management expertise.
Sound financial acumen, including pricing strategy, forecasting, and margin analysis.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout North America.
