Full Job Description

Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date: 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,232–$2,363 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts (5x8). Setting: perioperative care within an inpatient surgical service.

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
Monitor patient status, administer perioperative medications as appropriate, and document care accurately.
Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare, position, and maintain a safeoperative environment and patient flow.

Requirements

Active California RN license
Ability to work in an operating room/perioperative setting
Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
Strong communication and teamwork skills; capable of supervising/coordinating care with multidisciplinary staff
