Full Job Description

Overview
Restoration 1 of Cary is expanding its team. Get onboard with a growing company in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago on a mission to take care of our community and do it better than any other restoration company around! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various restoration services, including fire restoration, water damage restoration, and mold remediation. Responsibilities

Arrive at customer site as scheduled.
Perform construction demolition, water extraction, equipment set-up, moisture monitoring, furniture removal, containment set-up, and decontamination services.
Use water restoration equipment to dry affected areas at a loss.
Be ready to inspect the site and present solutions to the client if applicable.
Provide legendary customer service.
Communicate professionally with clients, employees, the general public, and management.
Demonstrate dependability and efficient work practices.
Follow all established procedures and safety guidelines.
Complete assigned projects per established time frames.
Ensure projects are completed to the client's satisfaction.

Requirements

Experience in the restoration industry is required, with specific knowledge of fire and water damage restoration techniques.
Familiarity with mold remediation practices is a plus.
Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to build and restore structures as needed.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent communication skills.
A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Compensation

We believe in investing in our employees! The pay range for this job is $19 to $30/hour, which will depend on prior experience, fit, and the right attitude. In addition to pay, other benefits include:
