Job Summary
Looking for Caregivers to do short shifts (1-2 hours)

Join our dedicated caregiving team as a Caregiver at Radium Springs, where your compassion and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, support residents with daily activities, and promote a safe, comfortable environment. Your energy and commitment will help enhance quality of life for those you serve, fostering independence and dignity every day.

Responsibilities

Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents’ health status is maintained.
Support client during meals by preparing nutritious meals, assisting with feeding if needed, and ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control procedures.
Document care activities thoroughly, communicate effectively with team members, and report any changes in client’s conditions promptly.
Support residents’ social engagement by encouraging participation in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid procedures.
Familiarity with group home environments or personal care homes is advantageous.
Proven ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with compassion, patience, and professionalism.
Using a Hoyer lift
