PART-TIME BAKER – THE RIGHT SLICE (KALAHEO, KAUAI)

We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working part-time baker to join our team at The Right Slice — Kauai’s specialty pie shop.

We’re looking for someone who can follow our recipes and systems while bringing fresh energy and ideas to the shop.

The Right Slice has been serving Kalaheo since 2009, and we’re here to stay. We love hiring from our local community. You must be located on Kauai between Omao and Waimea.

We’re a small, tight-knit team—some of our staff have been with us 10+ years—so finding the right fit matters. We’re looking for someone interested in a long-term role with a consistent schedule once trained, so you can plan your life outside of work. Some flexibility is appreciated when covering vacations or sick days.

We take care of our team and our customers—and we’re excited to meet the person who fills the missing slice of our pie.

Schedule:

Early morning shifts (5am start)
2-4 days per week 10-18 hours per week, Every Sunday and Monday.

Tuesday and Wednesday as needed.

Some flexibility required for coverage

What You’ll Do:

Create daily production lists and monitor inventory
Prepare and bake pies, crusts, fillings
Follow recipes and keep consistency
Keep your station clean and organized
Help with prep and daily kitchen tasks

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year baking experience (commercial kitchen preferred)
Team monthly cleaning night each 15th of the month
Able to move quickly and stay organized
Must have reliable transportation
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
