Property Care Coordinator

Full-Time | Maui Residents Only | From $34/hour | 40 Hours/Week | Benefits + Paid Time Off

Private Paradise Villas is seeking a Property Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our team of seasoned, “5-star equivalent” hospitality professionals caring for some of Maui's finest luxury vacation homes and resort residences, including Wailea Beach Villas, Montage Kapalua, and Andaz Wailea. This year we proudly celebrate 30 years as a thriving, growing locally owned & managed small business!

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a natural eye for detail, and enjoys being part of a team that consistently strives to deliver an exceptional guest and owner experience.

About the Position

Our Property Care Coordinator takes daily direction from our Senior Property Care Coordinator and plays an important role in keeping our properties in exceptional condition.

The position combines property inspections, maintenance coordination, troubleshooting, vendor management, and guest-arrival support. No two days are exactly alike, and this role is ideal for someone hands-on, organized, resourceful, and naturally inclined to notice and address the little things before they become bigger problems.

Conduct detailed property inspections and identify maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation issues.
Coordinate and oversee maintenance vendors and service providers.
Troubleshoot common property systems and equipment, including A/V, appliances, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, modems, and routers.
Assist with guest arrivals and ensure residences are properly prepared to our high standards.
Track multiple projects and follow through to completion.
Communicate clearly with the Property Care team, vendors, and other departments.
Help maintain the exceptional condition and presentation expected of a luxury property.

Requirements

Applicant must already live on Maui.
Valid Hawaii driver's license, clean driving abstract, valid auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to keep accurate notes and efficiently manage multiple projects at once.
Action-oriented and self-motivated, someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative.
Ability to assess changing circumstances and flex priorities based on what is most important in the moment.
Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine ability to “see and sweat the small stuff.”
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, resourceful approach.
Critical thinking, good judgment, and common sense.
Hospitality, luxury vacation rental, property management, maintenance, or customer service experience preferred.
Comfortable using smartphones, email, and everyday technology such as modems, routers, Sonos, and other connected home systems.
A team player who takes pride in representing PPV and contributing to our 'ohana.

Schedule

This position is well suited for someone who appreciates a flexible schedule and the variety that comes with luxury property management.

Up to 40 hours per week, generally working 8–10 hour shifts.
Weekend availability is required.
Shifts may begin as early as 7:00 a.m. and occasionally extend as late as 8:00 p.m.
Occasional paid overtime may be available.
Availability to respond to property needs after hours is required.
Scheduled on-call coverage for holidays may be required and is compensated.
