Full Job Description

The Public Relations Marketing Coordinator takes a lead role in the execution of brand-building campaigns, social media initiatives, media outreach, and community relations activities. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external agency partners, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of projects. The role contributes to the day-to-day execution of public relations and marketing initiatives, supports departmental operations, and plays an active role in maintaining consistent brand messaging, enhancing visibility, and driving community engagement across all channels.

Essential Duties

Social Media & Content Support

Take a lead role in planning, creating, and scheduling social media content to build brand awareness, increase engagement, and grow follower count across all social channels.

Manage day-to-day activity for all social media accounts, including monitoring engagement, responding to comments/messages, and escalating issues as needed.

Conduct research on influencers, assist with outreach and tracking of influencer collaborations.

Provide writing, editing, and research support for various communication projects, including marketing materials, internal communications, and public relations-related content.

Customer & Community Engagement

Communicate with customers daily by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, support complaint resolution in a professional and timely manner, and advise on improvements. Conflict resolution for elevated concerns

Analyze consumer engagement data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for content, customer relations, and campaign refinement.

Coordinate e-commerce platform operations including product listings, order fulfillment coordination, and customer follow-up.

Plan and coordinate community engagement activities, donation requests, and promotional event support.

Campaign & Media Relations Support

Take a lead role in executing marketing and public relations campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Serve as the primary liaison between the marketing department and outside partners/vendors, managing timelines, deliverables, and communications.

Develop and maintain comprehensive media lists; research industry insights and public relations trends to support outreach efforts.

Track and analyze media coverage and compile reports summarizing campaign outcomes and media activity with recommendations.

Coordinate Del Sol promotional events, including assisting with on-site set-up, tear-down, and general logistics as needed.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

Manage performance tracking of all marketing, public relations, and social media campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and identify growth opportunities.

Prepare regular reports and summaries on digital engagement, campaign reach, and customer interaction data.

Use performance data to inform strategic decisions and refine future content development and outreach tactics.

Internal Operations Lead

Act as team lead for Public Relations Marketing Assistants, providing guidance, delegating tasks, and supporting day-to-day workflow.

Serve as a key support for the Director of Marketing & Communications, maintaining departmental operations in their absence.

Assist with budget planning and management, including tracking expenses, vendor payments, and cost estimates for marketing campaigns.

Coordinate internal events and initiatives, including scheduling, logistics, communication, and serving on planning committees to enhance employee engagement and brand culture.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
