Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive until their departure. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as UnionPOS, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions
Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue by recommending specials or premium options like fine wines or craft cocktails
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and ensure timely service
Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while managing guest payments with professionalism

Requirements

Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments, including fine dining preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as UnionPOS for order entry and sales processing
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that fosters guest relations
Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately
Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards in the food industry
Experience with food handling, serving, bussing tables, or host/hostess duties is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry
