Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Director to lead and oversee our Social Day Care program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop, implement, and evaluate innovative initiatives that promote community well-being and engagement. The ideal candidate will bring energetic leadership, strategic vision, and a deep commitment. As a Program Director, you will collaborate with diverse community partners, manage teams of dedicated staff and volunteers, and drive program success through effective planning, outreach, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of community programs focused on health social services.
Supervise staff and volunteers by providing mentorship, training in volunteer management, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Cultivate strong partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and local government agencies to enhance program reach and impact.
Oversee program marketing efforts through social media management, outreach campaigns, and public speaking engagements to increase visibility and participation.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and administrative tasks ensuring programs meet objectives efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Collect and analyze data on program outcomes to inform continuous improvement strategies and prepare detailed reports for management.
Engage in grassroots community organizing efforts to build trust within culturally diverse communities; facilitate community engagement activities that promote inclusion and empowerment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in volunteer management, supervising teams, or leading community-based initiatives.
Strong background in program development, project management, social work or public health with a focus on underserved communities.
Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
Demonstrated success in community outreach, grassroots organizing, and working with culturally diverse populations.
Proficiency in social media management tools, data collection methods, fundraising strategies, and administrative software.
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable. Working in social services is a plus.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong written communication skills for report writing and client correspondence; experience in marketing or promotional writing is advantageous.
Leadership qualities including team leadership skills, collaboration with partners, and the ability to motivate others toward shared goals.
