Kitchen Design Sales Consultant

Help build a new standard for kitchen design in Hawaii.

The Opportunity

At Susanna Cabinets & Stone, we are establishing a full-service design and project model — one where clients receive expert guidance, premium products, and hands-on support from concept through installation. This is not a transactional role. It is a chance to be part of a team redefining what a kitchen showroom experience can be.

The Role

As Kitchen Design Sales Consultant, you will guide clients them through product selection, design decisions, and project planning, combining your sales instincts with genuine design expertise as their primary contact.

Your day-to-day will include:

Consulting with clients in the showroom and remotely to understand their project, vision, and budget
Developing design proposals and product specifications using 2020 Design or DesignFlex software
Guiding clients through product selection — cabinets, stone, hardware, and finishes
Managing your pipeline from first inquiry through signed contract and project handoff
Collaborating with the design and operations team on project details, timelines, and client follow-up
Representing the Susanna Cabinets & Stone standard of quality and service at every touchpoint

What We’re Looking For

Required:

Proven sales experience, ideally in design, home improvement, or a related field
A strong design sensibility and ability to translate a client’s vision into product and layout decisions
Proficiency in 2020 Design or DesignFlex — or demonstrated ability and commitment to learn quickly
Excellent communication and relationship skills; comfortable working closely with clients
Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple active client relationships

Preferred:

Background in interior design, architecture, kitchen and bath, or residential construction
Experience in a showroom or design studio environment
Familiarity with cabinet, stone, or luxury building product lines
Existing relationships in the Hawaii design and real estate community
